Visiting the Winery

Our Cellar Door

We love receiving visitors at our winery, whether you’re a local, traveller or wine connoisseur!

Our cellar door is open 7 days a week, where practical and our licence allows us, from 9am till 6.30pm. We like to keep it casual and relaxed, and usually Bella the vineyard dog won’t be far away to greet you, give you the welcoming sniff and check you out for food.

For our winery tasting experience & story we have a couple of flexible options for you to choose from depending on what you are wanting and timeframe. Get in touch with us to discuss what you would like and plan your winery experience.

There are no bookings required for small walk in groups but feel free to give us a ring anyway. We do ask for any larger groups over 10 people to email or ring us to book in. A fun day out for a hens party, Christmas get together, or a summer’s afternoon with friends.

Other Food and Drink

The cellar door also stocks some local Whitehorse Cheeses from Waimate, plus local craft beer from Wigram Brewery in Christchurch, all available to purchase and complement your winery experience. We do not offer tastings for the Cheeses or Beers.

You are also welcome to bring a picnic with and enjoy our surrounds.

Tours and Transport

We have a few local businesses we work with regularly which can turn a simple winery visit into an experience. Hire a van for transport and bring a few friends to make a day of it, or jump on a party bus!

  • Cheeky Kea Transport
  • Giles Wine Tours
  • Party Bus

Accommodation

Ever wondered what it would be like to camp amongst the vines? Come and find out! We offer self-contained camping won our property. So what a great chance to combine two passions together! We love welcoming visitors who are travelling around New Zealand, or perhaps someone visiting locals. Get in touch with us if you would like to learn more about this, or visit the links below.
